I happened to read an interesting article on anitaroddick.com. The base message of the article was something I have been wondering about. I'm supprised that my fears have come true is we consider the facts in this article as true. The Kartina tragedy has definately shown that atleast this part of the most powerful and richest country is still no different from any third world country. The only thing I have hope about is that people here tend to learn from there mistakes or lack of intelectual power. I pray that nothing like this happens again and if it does we as humans are much better prepared to face it and will not lose valuable human lives whatever economic class they belong to.
